How To Make A Kawaii “Statement” Flag Banner

 Hello Kawaii D.I.Y. students! Kaila sensei here ~ (ノ´ヮ´)ノ*:・゚✧

Today, I will show you how you can make a cute "statement" as a room decor!


Here is one of my favorite mantras to keep me motivated as a Kawaii Lifestyle Blogger.

If you need some pep talk about (re)starting your blog dream, I've also written a blog entry about how blogging has changed my life.



For this easy kawaii DIY tutorial, you will need the following:

★ washi tapes ★

★ colorful / patterned origami sheets ★

★ a pair of scissors ★

★ twine string ★


Since I have a set of gingham-patterned origami sheets, I decided to use these on-hand materials instead of printing out patterns from the internet.

You can do the latter one if you want unique patterns : )

Meiji’s Kinoko no Yama Chocolate Kit Review by Kaila


Hello Kawaii D.I.Y. and fellow crafters! Kaila-sensei here! (•ૢ⚈͒⌄⚈͒•ૢ)

For today's fun post, I'm going to share my kawaii experience through photos with this chocolate biscuit kit from Meiji ~

This was a gift from my sister-in-law, Mimi Claire! I think that this is perfect for the Valentine Season! : )

Instant yet personalized, haha!

Here are the package contents. Yay!


As shown in the illustration, I just poured hot water in a cup.

Then melt the chocolate by immersing the sticks ~




After 5 minutes or so, the chocolate easily melted and ready for molding!
